Greek FrappéIced Coffee Perfection

The Greek frappé is a frothy iced coffee made with instant coffee, water, and sugar, shaken to perfection. It’s refreshing, strong, and a must-try for coffee lovers.

  1. Make the Froth:
    • Add the instant coffee, sugar (if using), and 2 tablespoons of cold water to a shaker or jar with a lid.
    • Shake vigorously for 30-60 seconds until a thick foam forms. If using a blender, blend on high for 10-15 seconds.
  2. Assemble the Frappé:
    • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour the coffee foam over the ice.
    • Top it up with cold water or milk, depending on your preference.
  3. Stir and Serve:
    • Stir gently to combine the foam with the liquid.
    • Add a straw, and enjoy your frothy Greek frappé!

Tips for the Perfect Frappé

Moroccan Mint Tea

This tea is a staple in North Africa, known for its bold green tea flavor and fresh mint aroma. Served sweet, it’s perfect for sipping slowly on a lazy afternoon.

Ingredients:

  • Green tea leaves – 1 tbsp (or 2 tea bags)
  • Fresh mint leaves – 1 handful
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp (adjust to taste)
  • Water – 3 cups

Instructions:

  • Boil water and pour over green tea leaves in a teapot. Steep for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add fresh mint leaves and sugar to the teapot. Stir gently.
  • Strain into small glasses and serve hot or over ice.
